PIQC Partners with QC LGU for Grade 12’s Work  Immersion

As part of preparing the graduates of the Senior High School program to enter the workforce as a possible option aside from proceeding to college, the Department of Education has required the students of Grade 12 to have a mandatory work immersion for eighty (80) hours to any partner institution with the school. 

Last October 11, 2023, the Assistant Principal for Administrative Affairs and Services, Mr. Jeffrey C. Layva, together with the SHS Department Supervisor, Dr. Alicia L. Padua, visited Mr. Juan S. Alonzo IV of the Local Economic and Investment Promotions Office (LEIPO) of the Quezon City Local Government Unit (QC LGU) to discuss the possible partnership of PIQC and QC LGU for the work immersion activity of the Grade 12 students.

Through the Quezon City Internship Program, the students of Grade 12 will be able to do their work immersion activity at the Quezon City Hall starting the Second Semester of SY 2023-2024, which will be assisted by the HR Officer of the QC LGU’s Strategic Human Resource Unit (SHRU), Ms. Jazmin Catherine V. Menor, RPm.
