The Philippine Institute of Quezon City conducted a webinar entitled, “Family Time Amidst Pandemic”. It was held on the 9th of January, Saturday, 9:00 am, via Microsoft Teams and Facebook Live.
The guest speaker for the said webinar was Ms. Daphne Grace V. Fidel. She is a former Early Childhood Education Department Head of the Diliman Preparatory School of Quezon City. A graduate of Master of Family Life and Child Development in the University of the Philippines-Diliman. She was an awardee of the Principal’s Award of Excellence as a Teacher at Diliman Preparatory School and was named as one of the Outstanding Teachers at Diliman Preparatory School.
In line with the challenges that each family is facing during this pandemic, this webinar aimed to help families adjust to the current situation.
She stated that, “Despite the hardships that this pandemic brings, it has actually gifted us with precious time to spend with people who matter the most in life which is our family”.
The speaker emphasized in her talk, the benefits of family time with undivided attention. In addition, she has also suggested a family routine that can be used to find quality time in every home.
